ATX Clean Now Handles Holiday Lighting From Custom Design to January Takedown and Off-Season Storage
Austin, United States - October 1, 2026 / Pressure Washing Marketing Pros /
ATX Clean Pressure Washing, an exterior cleaning company known across Austin for pressure washing and roof cleaning, has launched a full-service Christmas light installation service for the 2026 holiday season. Bookings are open now and run through Christmas Day, giving homeowners and businesses time to plan a display before the season's busiest stretch. The new Christmas light installation service covers design, installation, in-season upkeep, and a January takedown for properties across the metro.
What Austin Homeowners Take On When They Hang Their Own Lights
Stringing holiday lights looks simple until the ladder comes out. Nationwide, decorating sends thousands of people to emergency rooms each season, and federal safety data shows falls are the single most common holiday decorating injury, averaging roughly 240 incidents a day across November and December. The demand is not going anywhere either, as national retail research shows that 91 percent of Americans plan to celebrate the winter holidays and budget hundreds of dollars each on gifts, food, and decorations. In Austin, that adds up to thousands of households facing the same December routine: climbing to the roofline, untangling last year's strands, and finding somewhere to store everything once January arrives. Store-bought sets rarely fit a roofline cleanly or hold up through a full Central Texas season.
What ATX Clean's Holiday Lighting Service Covers
The new service removes that routine entirely. Every light line is measured and custom-cut to the individual property so the display follows the rooflines instead of being forced to fit, and the crew installs commercial-grade C9 bulbs, weatherproof line, and timers in the colors the customer picks. Before install day, customers approve an online mock-up built from their own home, showing the layout and colors ahead of time. The company handles upkeep through the season, returns in January to take everything down, and stores each property's set in its own labeled container for the following year. Pricing is set by the foot, and the service covers both homes and commercial properties across Austin.
What ATX Clean Says the Season Is Really About
For ATX Clean Pressure Washing, the appeal is less about the hardware than the moment it creates. "Everybody uses the same bulbs and the same wire, so the lights were never what sets this apart," said Ian Straughan, owner of ATX Clean Pressure Washing. "What we care about is a family standing in the driveway on the first night it all turns on, with nobody up a ladder or digging a tangled box out of the attic to get there. We cut every line to the house, store it labeled for next year, and handle the takedown, so the only part left for you is enjoying it."
